The role of the Public Information & Media Relations Office is to prepare and distribute press releases, to handle media relations and public inquiries about County programs and services, to provide vital information from the government to the public during emergencies, to represent Charles County Government in the public and private sectors, to prepare County publications, to coordinate press conferences and County Commissioner events, and to handle the Commissioners' internet e-mail.
