Charles County Senior Centers
The Department of Community Services operates each of the county’s Senior Centers, where citizens 60 and older may access a variety of programs and services, including:
- Social/recreational activities
- Special events: trips, dances, and celebrations
- Nutritious lunches, by reservation
- Health programs and screenings
- Health Scope/Visit the Nurse
- Education: workshops, classes, lectures
- Physical fitness programs and equipment
- Aquatics classes
- Creative arts: painting, crafts, music, dance
- Computer lab/classes
Monthly calendars of activities are available at each Senior Center. Transportation is available through VanGO.
