Nanjemoy Special Offerings
Nanjemoy offers many programs outside of normal Community Center activities. Individuals and organizations are able to rent the center for various events and programs. The Head Start program for children is located within the Center, as well as the Nanjemoy Senior Center.

About the Nanjemoy Community Center
The Nanjemoy Community Center offers a wide variety of programs and services designed to fulfill the needs of the Nanjemoy community. In addition to recreational programming, other services offered at the Nanjemoy Community Center include:
SENIOR CENTER - Programs and services are offered Monday-Thursday, 9:30-2:30. Transportation is available.
FACILITY RENTAL - The Nanjemoy Community Center is available for rent. Choose from five different rooms. Please call the center for additional information.
HEALTH & DENTAL SERVICES - Provided by Nanjemoy Health Services. Medical appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday. Dental is available Wednesday. Call 301-246-4031 or 301-753-4630.
HEAD START - This program targets disadvantaged three- to five-year-old children and gives them a foundation for early learning. For more information call 301-609-7812.
SOCIAL SERVICES - First Tuesday of every month, 9:00-12:00
CATHOLIC CHARITIES - Thursday, 9:30-12:00
T.O.P.S. - (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) - Wednesday, 5:00-6:00
BROWSING LIBRARY - Books are available for check out on the honor system. Books are provided by the Charles County public library.
