All Star Coaches Pre-Season Sports Clinics
Come learn soccer and basketball from the best youth coaches in Charles County. This six day pre-season clinic will be sure to help you improve your skills in time for the upcoming winter indoor sports season. Skill development and a fun learning environment will be the #1 goal of every coach as we cover the essential fundamentals of the games. This year we are adding a special skills day Saturday, December 6. Special games and competitions will be held at a location TBA to give all of our participants an opportunity to meet new friends and a chance to show off their new skills. No class Nov 11. Open to age 5-13. Resident Fee: $25: Non-Resident: $27. Soccer and basketball clinics are separate. All clinics begin in November. Start Smart Sports Development Program
Start Smart is a nationally sanctioned program through the National Alliance of Youth Sports (NAYS). Six week class is a fun introduction to various sports. The program includes parents in preparing children for organized youth sports in a fun, non-threatening environment. The program uses fun, developmentally age appropriate equipment to prepare children for traditional sports without the fear of failure. Open to young children age 3-5. Resident Fee: $35 Non-Resident: $40. Two programs are available to choose from. The first program will be offered each Wednesday, October 1-November 5, 6:00-7:00pm, at Davis Middle School, Waldorf.
