Route Descriptions
Newburg (Purple)
The Newburg route is a fixed route providing morning and afternoon loops that operate from the La Plata Transfer Point (La Plata Wal-Mart) to the Aqualand Campground on route 301 south. It turns around just before the campground area and travels northward back to La Plata. All motels along Route 301 and the Jude House are served along this route.
The Newburg route also provides the only service to Rosewick Crossing. As a result, Rosewick Crossing is served both before and after Newburg's schedule connection at the La Plata transfer point.
On several loops, the Department of Community Services main office in Port Tobacco is served. This is the only deviation from the 301 corridor that occurs with the Newburg route. Click here for a complete route detail for the Newburg Route.
