Gilbert Run Park is the only county park where picnic facilities and pavilions may be reserved in advance.  Information on permitting one of these sites can be obtained by calling Gilbert Run Park at 301-932-1083.

Weekend/Holiday Gilbert Run Park Pavilion Rental Rates:

Brookside

Gilbert Run's largest pavilion; accommodates groups up to 400; $250/day; Beer permit available - $25 additional cost. *50% Gate Fee discount (must be paid in lump sum at end of day).

Features - 36 tables, two large grills (30" x 36"), electric, on-site restrooms, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, open play area and playground equipment. This semi-secluded pavilion has its own large parking area.

Amphitheater

Large pavilion; accommodates 250 people; $150/day; Beer permit available - $25 additional cost. *50% Gate Fee discount (must be paid in lump sum at end of day).

Features: Volleyball net and horseshoe pits on site, 2 large grills, (36" x 27" and 36" x 33"), 25 tables, on-site restrooms, electric, open area for other activities.

Hilltop

Medium size pavilion; accommodates 150 people; $100/day; Beer permit available - $25 additional cost.

Features: Wooded-hilltop setting, 36" x 100" brick B.B.Q., 15 tables, on-site restrooms, parking area, electric, and leisurely 5 minute walk on wooded trail to playground, boating and sports area.

Dockside

Regular size pavilion; accommodates up to 50 people; $75/day.

Features: 2 large grills (46" x 20" and 24" x 32"), 8 tables, open lakeside setting, across bridge from playground, near restrooms, boating and sports area (volleyball and horseshoes).

Southbridge

Regular size pavilion; accommodates up to 50 people; $75/day.

Features: Lakeside setting, 2 large grills (32" x 34" and 20" x 60"), 8 tables, close to parking area, across bridge from boating, restrooms and sports area, next to playground and tot lot.

Playground

Regular size pavilion; accommodates up to 50 people; $75/day.

Features: Wooded setting, one large 60" x 20" grill, 8 tables, close to parking area, near playground and tot lot, across bridge from restrooms, boating and sports area.
