Parks & Grounds
White Plains Dog Park and Turkey Hill Dog Park are public off-leash areas operated and maintained by Charles County Government's Department of Public Facilities. We invite County dog owners and their pets to enjoy these unique facilities. Our Dog Parks provide safe, legal areas in which dogs can run, play, and socialize. Our dog owners seem to enjoy the parks just as much as their four-legged friends!
At both parks, you find secure fenced areas to protect your dog, numerous benches, a picnic pavilion, a message bulleting board, and plenty of friendly people and their dogs. Drinking water is available at White Plains Dog Park (Not during exteme winter weather). Water is not available at Turkey Hill Dog Park, owners are encouraged to bring water. No glass containers.
Plastic pickup bags are provided by the park so that visitors are always ready to clean up after their dogs.
