Sarah was nominated, by her peers, as Employee of the Month for January 2009. 

She is being recognized for her work in getting the nearly 500-page Charles County Zoning Ordinance reformatted for printing and for on the web.  Her own numerous hours expended for this project as well as coordination efforts with staff to get this project to fruition was exemplary.  As part of the Charles County Code, Chapter 297, Zoning Regulations, was a massive document for the general citizen to find answers to their needs.  However, her coordination with other County staff to add drop down lists and word searches has evolved this publication into a user friendly resource for all citizens of Charles County. She is a true example of a dedicated employee.
